Freedom during the turn of the century

This article says that there were different levels of freedom. So not fair right? The native Americans were being directed out of there homes and had no rights at all because of the Removal Act enforced by Andrew Jackson. Although the blacks were technically freed after the civil war, they weren't completely. But of course there was a bill passed basically saying that everyone of every race has equal rights. The south still went in their stubborn ways and tried to limit the rights of blacks even though there was a bill passed saying otherwise. Women's freedom has barely changed too. They were now able to work but in factories
